The protections built into WeaveStacks and how to stay safe when you buy and sell.

What protects you
- Verified sellers. Look for the verification status on a profile. See Identity Verification.
- Payment protection on gig orders. Your payment is held until you confirm delivery. See Protected Payments.
- Milestones on projects. You approve each milestone before it is paid. See Milestones & Payments.
- Disputes. If something goes wrong, our team reviews it. See Dispute Resolution.
- Licenses and key checks on digital products, and demo and documentation links that are checked regularly.
Keep payments on WeaveStacks
Payment protection, milestones and disputes only protect what is paid through the platform. If someone asks you to pay or be paid elsewhere, say no and tell us.
Stay safe
- Never share your password or sign-in codes. We will never ask for them.
- Check a seller’s reviews, verification and how long they have been on the platform.
- Read the description and the license before you buy.
- Be careful with links and files sent outside the platform’s messages.
Report a problem
Use the contact page, or open a support ticket from your dashboard, for a suspicious listing, a scam attempt, a copyright concern or an abusive message. Include the link or order number. You can read how we handle this in the Compliance overview.
