Why sellers verify, what to upload and how your documents are protected.

Why verify
Verification shows buyers that a real, checked person or business stands behind a profile. It is optional to browse and buy. For sellers, the verification status is shown on the profile so buyers can tell who has been checked.
How verification works
Step 1
Open verification
Go to Account Settings → Identity Verification.
Step 2
Upload your documents
A government-issued photo ID, and for businesses the registration or business documents. Photos must be sharp and show the whole document.
Step 3
Wait for review
Your status becomes Pending while our team checks the documents.
Step 4
Get the result
You become Verified, or Rejected with the chance to upload clearer or correct documents.
How your documents are protected
- They are stored privately, not on any public address.
- Only platform administrators can open them, and only through a link that expires after a few minutes.
- Nobody else sees them: not buyers, not other sellers.
- If you delete your account, your documents are deleted with it.
Common questions
Which documents are accepted?
A valid government-issued photo ID (passport, national ID card or driver’s licence). Businesses add a document that shows the business name, such as a registration certificate.
My verification was rejected.
The reason is usually a blurry or cropped photo or an expired document. Upload new, clear documents from the same page and it goes back into review.
Do buyers need to verify?
No. Buying and hiring work without verification.
