License Types
Regular or extended: what each license lets you do and how license keys work.
Two licenses
- Regular license: use the product in one end project, for you or one client.
- Extended license: for larger use, such as several projects or a product you sell on to your own customers. Not every product offers one, and the exact permissions are written on the product page.
The seller sets the price of each license, and writes what it covers. Always read the license description on the product page before you buy.
License keys
Products licensed through WeaveStacks get a license key after purchase. You find it under My Downloads & Keys. A regular license works on one domain; an extended license on many. Local test addresses such as localhost do not use up a domain. Some sellers run their own licensing, and some products need no key at all. The product page says which applies.
What you may not do
- Resell, share or redistribute the product or its keys, unless an extended license says you may.
- Pass off the product as your own.
Updates and extra support
When the seller publishes a new version you are emailed and can download it. Some products also offer extended support as an option at checkout.
