The short version
- Digital products are delivered immediately, so purchases are generally final.
- If a product is materially not as described, does not work as advertised, or was never delivered, open a dispute and we will review it.
- Gig orders are held until you confirm delivery. While the money is held you can open a dispute.
- Project milestones are only paid when you approve them. You can ask for changes first.
How to ask for a refund
Talk to the seller
Use Contact seller on your order. Many problems are fixed quickly this way.
Open a dispute
In Disputes & Payment Claims, choose the order or contract, explain what went wrong and add evidence such as screenshots.
We review
The money involved is frozen while our team looks at the evidence from both sides.
Decision
We either refund you or release the money to the seller. See Dispute Resolution.
How refunds are paid
An approved refund is returned to your wallet balance, where you can use it for your next purchase. If the seller was already paid for the order, that amount is taken back from them.
Things we cannot refund
A change of mind, not reading the description or license, or issues that come from your own setup are not reasons for a refund. Payments made outside WeaveStacks are not covered.
Common questions
How long do I have to open a dispute?
Will my license stop working after a refund?
