1What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. WeaveStacks also uses the browser’s local storage, which works the same way for this purpose, so this page covers both. Some are needed for the site to work. Others are optional and are only used if you say yes.
2Always on: needed for the site to work
These cannot be switched off, because sign-in, the cart and your settings would stop working without them.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| auth_token | Keeps you signed in | Until you sign out, or the sign-in expires after 30 days |
| NEXT_LOCALE | Remembers your language | Until you change it or clear it |
| weavestacks_cart | Keeps the items in your cart | Until you check out, empty it or clear your browser data |
| preferred_currency | Remembers the currency prices are shown in | Until you change it |
| cookie-consent, cookie-preferences | Remember your cookie choice | Until you change it |
| Interface settings | Dashboard layout choices such as a collapsed sidebar or pinned chats | Until you change them |
3Only with your consent: analytics
If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, we record which pages are viewed, where visitors come from, and the country and device type, to understand how the site is used and improve it.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| visitor-id | A random identifier for our own usage statistics. It is not linked to your IP address. | Deleted when you withdraw consent |
| _ga, _ga_*, _gid | Google Analytics, only if the site has it switched on and you accepted analytics | Removed when you withdraw consent |
| weavestacks_ref | Remembers the member whose affiliate link brought you here, so they are credited if you sign up | 30 days with your consent; without it, until you close the tab |
4Cookies from other companies
When you pay, the payment provider you choose (such as Stripe, Razorpay or PayPal) may set its own cookies on its payment page to process the payment and prevent fraud. Their policies apply to those cookies.
5Your choices
- Open Cookie settings (below, or in the footer) at any time to accept, decline or change analytics.
- Your browser lets you block or delete cookies and local storage. Blocking the essential ones will stop sign-in and the cart from working.
- For how we handle personal data in general, read the Privacy Policy.
